coming home from where? been gone a long time? well, I personally dont have great luck with birth control.. got my two kids off the pill and the patch.. try "Conceptro" spermicidal gel and condoms.. or just the gel.. it says on the package to be used with or without.. about $12 at Walmart.

Not very, condoms break. Dont be an idiot and do something like take the pill every other day. Why take them at all? If you get your period you get your period. You have the rest of your life to have sex, a few days wont kill you.

well the doctors say that condoms are only about 88% effective because of the way you store it like in your wallet. then the protection rate goes down. so i think you should use both condoms and the pill. maybe you should think about getting more pills or change your method of birth control.

if you use the pills that way you are basically just relying on the condoms, so if used correctly then around 80 to 85%

just take the pills like u r suppose to and talk to ur Dr. Some doctors will tell u how to take ur pills to offset your period > I know how to do it but it is best for your Dr. to tell u!

But honestly is a couple of days of sex worth the hassle?

No birth control is perfect, but the odds of pregnancy under your circumstance is less than 1%. Probably less than 0.1%
