Well for me , I would very much appreciate if a girl did ask me out. I personally have a problem to just be that friendly guy but find it hard to ask someone out. I'm very shy and always concerned to be honest, in my mind I'd think I'm glad to be having a good time to be talking as in friendly manner but I'd wonder really that perhaps this lass would already have a boyfriend and such so I truly find it hard to ask myself. I'd say yes it would be attractive for guys who are not so confident in themselves. The confidence I have is the things I do, one of them is that I love to cook all kinds of chinese foods, so I just imagine one day I would be able to cook for someone that's close.

Well, yes. But not if the girl is feeling sorry for the guy. I would hate it if a girl asked me out if she just felt sorry for me. However, if the girl is really intrested in the guy, then I say its all right for the girl to ask. Who says the guy has to ask the girl first?

For eons (it seems) it's been up to the guys to ask girls out and to 'make the first move'. It's high time women got involved in their own dating lives and made some moves too. We shouldn't feel we have to sit around and wait for someone we find appealing to ask us out...and most guy's I've known were very open to the idea of a woman approaching him first.

yes...yes it is. yes. sometimes its too much pressure for the guy to ask the girl out. girls travel in packs and with friends around a guy can get slaughtered. rejection by friends is worse than a girl just saying sorry. but a girl asking a guy, we get all dumbfounded and lost. lol.

I do not think it attractive at all! Yes I do know its 2006, but some things never change and this is one of them.Guys know they have to do the asking! I might drop blatant hints but not actually doing the asking!

I've missed a lot of opportunities because I missed the "signals" the gal was sending. If they would have asked me out, it could have turned into a beautiful thing! It really sucks to find out later, and they never tell you until they are already married.
