Congratulations, sister. I wish there were more like you, we would have a lot less abortions and divorces if there were. Stand strong for what you believe, I admire you.

I agree with you waiting is the best thing to do it’s something that the bible tells us how to live

"But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people."

but there isn’t anywhere (that I found) that says it is going to be easy to keep away from

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

few will find it b/c few want to...I mean if you drive you know that a narrow road would have more traffic then a wider road and you want to take the wide road b/c who like traffic? the same things goes with sin its hard you fight with yourself all the time about taking the shortcut or wide road b/c its easy. its all about self-control so ppl have more self-control then others. a person with less will have a hard time and struggle more with it. and I believe that you are the type to have a lot more self-control then others so that’s why its not hard for you.

I just want you encourage you to keep pure and that it will make your marriage better and it’s the best gift you can give to your husband

Why cant you keep your opinion to your self? I can control my urge to judge people like you, i dont tell people about all the sexual things I have and have not done. I know judging others is a sin why dont you understand that? I'm very attractive to and so is my wife we are happy and we had sex before we got married. Why cant you keep your judgment to your self? I'm just wondering why you think your better just because you lived a sheltered life? Do you think anybody really cares that you are a virgin?

I know its hard for you not to judge other people cause you think God is on your side. I will let God know later that you were just stupid cause that's all your parents decided to tell you about life.

---Well, I myself am 25 and a virgin, although at some points in my life, years ago, I did not want to be. Now I thank God that I still am and am committed to staying that way. I will not say that I have not lusted once in the last year, but by God's grace I do have more freedom from this sin than most people.
---You should be more careful with what you say and think though. For one, when you are confident in yourself and don't acknowledge that it is God who helps you not sin, you may be setting yourself up for a fall. Also, you may have not been in really long relationships like some people and therefore weren't tempted to any serious level. Also, talking so freely about your strenghts can make other people who aren't strong in that area feel guilty and condemned.
---It is great that you are keeping yourself though.

I commend you for having great self control and waiting for marriage. I think it's honorable and wonderful. You're right about what the bible says about lust and masturbation.

The bible also says that we all inherited sin and we will fall to temptation. Many of us have and will in the furture. Let God be our judge though. It's up to him to judge the people not you.

That's a good choice for u to make. I wasn't fortunate to choose. Mine was taken from me at the age of 5. My fiance is waiting. He knows I'm not a virgin and he's ok with that. I do not pressure him into it and I'm patiently waiting for our wedding day.

Congratulations on having a good head on your shoulders.

Because what's right for one doesn't mean its right for everyone.
You believe you should wait for marriage, good for you, but don't try to push your beliefs on everyone.
You believe that masturbation is a sin, sorry to hear that your missing out on some fun.
But anywho, kudos to you for sticking to your beliefs. But not everyone shares your beliefs and shouldn't have to.

Not everyone is religious like you.....some of us like our temptations and urges.....I have nothing holding me back from them....I love to have a good time and do the things that people like you consider a sin....I consider it life....and im going to live it up.

Because we are all horny b*tches. And i think the only reason that you asked this question is so that you can brag about being a virgin. which isn't that good anyway.
