Go to Google Earth and find out for yourself. If you cant go to the website , go back to school, if you can't go back to school, ask your school if they would kindly reimburse your school fees, because it doesn't look you learned anything.

no, the world is not quite round. it is very close... but it is longer around the equator than it is around the prime meridian. as the others said, it is spherical, but not truly round... more like a circle that is squished a bit on the top and bottom...
