Heat up the very tip of the pen with a gas range flame briefly (2-3 seconds).

Alternatively, "write" some long lines very quickly on a pad, back and forth, to generate some friction heat to liquify the ink somewhat.

Heat up the end of it with a lighter.(the roller ball part) Or get the end of it wet.
