from thin to thick and vice versa and my curve lines arent constant how do I make them constant, instead of the lines showing up wavy?

BUT WHY DON'T U USE COREL DRAW WHICH HAS MORE FEATURES THAN ILLUSTRATOR

I'm not sure what you mean by constant, but when working with lines you must select the point tool and edit the properties of the points. If you double click on them, that should convert them to to line points instead of curve points. You should be able to select this if you context click (right click) on the point too. If you want it to stay a curve, but make the defined angles even, press and hold the left mouse button on the point and drag outward.
You cant create a stroke gradient that isnt predefined in the version of Illustrator I have. If I wanted to create a taper like that I would use a triangle shape and just stretch it out and add curve points.

well, i like u just for using illutrator !!
u can fade any shape u want (line, square, circle,...etc.) to another shape simply by drawing the both shapes u want then select them, then use BLEND from object menu, u may modify the blend options there too.
