The traditional gift for a 2 year anniversary is cotton.
I would suggest booking up a weekend away somewhere and give him a cotton bath robe......... to put on after a romantic bath together whilst drinking champagne and eating strawberries.
If you can't afford a weekend away, do it at home with candles and soft music.
Maybe buy yourself some cotton lingerie and just show him a night of extreme passion. Do a little strip for him..... make him feel like a king for a night. If you really want to spice things up, send him text messages throughout the day of what he is to expect when he gets home that night!!
LOL, I have answered this assuming you were female. If you are male you can still do all of the above, but I don't think the stockings would look as good lol... Oh and maybe have some flowers ready in a vase if you are male!!........... Either a dozen roses or 1 single one. That is way more romantic than just a bunch of mixed!

If you are dating: Take your date to a mildly expensive restaurant, bring them to a really scary movie so they will be clinging to you for the rest of the night, and then top off the evening with a good 69.
If you are married: Put a plastic bag over your head, place a rubber band around your neck, and breathe deeply. This will prevent you from having to do the dreaded "anniversary" thing with the same person for the rest of your life.

I think it would be nice to plan a vacation somewhere during that week, like an island. You could be on the island and make dinner plans for the evening of the day that your anniversary falls on. My husband and I very seldom do anything for our anniversary and most years we totally forget about it, or we don't plan far enough in advance so that we can save for it. Our 20 year is due next year and I am planning our vacation that week so we don't forget and we are going to go to an island.

We have been married for 21 years. Each year we write
"__ things I love about (spouse's name)"
Write one thing for every year you have been married.
This year I came up with 21 things I love about my husband. You would only have to write 2 things. The amazing thing is it actually gets easier to think of things as the years go by!
Another idea is to re-create your first date. Rent a movie you liked to watch.
It doesn't have to be expensive to be romantic!
Happy Anniversary!

You could write a mystery dinner treasure hunt. Leave clues from one special place to another so each time she gets to a destination (hopefully a place that means something to the two of you) she will have another card with a clue to the next place. Eventually meeting you at her favorite restraunt.
I even put a rose with each clue card (which helped find them too.)
Don't get too caught up! She might be starving by the time she gets to you. ;-)
Good luck and happy anniversary!
