It can't, we will shoot it down long before it gets close and then stomp the crap out of Korea.

Sin Nombre? 3 hours? attempt back. those are Ballistic missiles, with a view to return and forth a definite variety to objective, they might desire to upward thrust as much as a particular suborbital velocity. As such, damned close to ALL Ballistic missiles take with regards to the comparable quantity of time. you haven't any longer have been given one going rapid and yet another going slow. The slow one won't have the variety potential. Given the dimensions of the planet, gravity, etc... an ICBM fired from the some distance edge of the planet (the furthest you will nicely be and nevertheless be on the comparable planet takes purely over half-hour. So there is not any (bleeping) way that any ICBM would take 3 hours to objective. Korea to u.s.? between 25-half-hour. this is... if that they had a missile able. they do no longer. they have one that doesn't artwork that if it did... would desire to easily probably attain Hawaii and Alaska. and whether it labored... they nevertheless don't have a nuclear warhead for it. What they have is a few attempt gadgets for attempting out detonation. and all those are by potential of US standards... DUDS. EDIT: Sin Nombre, you could upload all the further information you prefer, you're nevertheless incorrect. If it had the fee of a SCUD it would have the variety of a SCUD as nicely.

Remember that if you fly from Korea to the US you are flying over Alaska (because of the curvature of the Earth) so It would take the Missile about the same amount of time to reach Chicago as it would California.

It takes about 16 hours by jet to get to Korea, Missles travel much higher and faster so I would guess, (if they even have the engine to do this with which I doubt) around 5-9 hours.

The Taepo-dong 2 missle would take less than 30 minutes to launch and impact at its maximum range. It would be a matter of the ballistic trajectory and how many solid/liquid stages were built into the TD-2.

Realisticly if the thing works 3-6 hours, and if it does get here it still has to detonate (thats the hard part), This is a very delicate situation and must be handled with words and sanctions! Our antimissle defenses are brand new never been used better hope we get it right the first time!!!
