How come when most people get into a car, they want to ride in the front seat, but in a school bus, it is so uncool to sit in the front of the bus. Why is there a difference? The front is the front, isn't it?

When a school bus goes over a hill with any sort of speed, it is more likely that you can catch air as the bus and seat drops out from under you. It's also uncool to sit directly over the bus's back tires, where the humps are.

Sitting in the front seat of a car is always better since there is most likely more room, you can adjust the seats, and you have control of your own window.

If you are in the unfortunate position of being in the backseat while a smoker is in the front seat, you get to have their ashes hit you in the face as they try to flick the ashes out the window.
