The Rumor Mill is entertainment, not factual reporting (kind of like CNN without the commercials).
Ooops... scratch that last part... I just got two pop up ads, so they do have the commercials.

Basically, the dealli-o is thus: Globalization isn't all it's cracked up to be. There's a lot of problems, and when you concentrate enough stupid people together in a confined space of different backgrounds, well it's like matches and gasoline...not a preferred combination. And, that's about what immigration/forced integration has done to our states, combined a bunch of people together that had a hard enough time of it by themselves in hopes of building a 'great society' . Well, society's not so great anymore, and there's a lot of problems out there, and a lot of people that expect 'the government' to magically 'make it all better'. Turns out though, that they can't, 'cause there IS no magic wand, the only counter to social down-slide is a good education, and some people from some countries don't even send their kids to school anymore. That's 'bad'. Places like California need to get a handle on immigration NOW, rather than wait, and the unfortunate way you do that is by invoking and then supporting the INS and using local law enforcement to help them in the unsavory task of sending people back whence they came...
Savory, or not, though, the job still has to be done, and cities/communities need to think about opening up a local immigration enforcement office. That'd cost money, but so would the problems that it'd help to prevent...

I read the article you posted the link for and it was a real wake-up call. I hope everyone who answers your question will take five minutes to read the article and further educate themselves on what is really happening.

Yeah...if you're here legally there is no problem with you being here. When you cross that line and enter ILLEGALLY then certain issues arise. Like your not being allowed to be here.
