Jesus and God are NOT the same.

CONSIDER THESE

-God has a begining. Jesus was God's 1st creation.
-Jesus tells us in the bible that God is higher than he is.
-Jesus says "all authority has been given me on heaven and on earth....". That would imply that someone HIGHER than he had to give it to him.
-The book of John says: No one has seen the Almighty God at any time". People have seen Jesus during his ministry on earth.
-At John 17:3, Jesus calls his father "The only true God".

*** Yes, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that 144,000 people will go to heaven and reign with Jesus "to serve as priests and kings over the Earth". There would HAVE to be people living on Earth for them to rule over. God didn't create the world "simply for nothing". He has a purpose for it. Why would he put humans on it? Genesis tells us what command he told Adam: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the Earth and subdue it...." This was what he wanted for the Earth. Psalms 37 states "But the meek one will possess the earth and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace". This prophecy is YET to occur.

You can't be a christian. True Christians believe in the Trinity and you don't. No way you are born-again because Holy spirit is part of the trinity! You need to read the bible, little girl! Jesus was tempted but did not sin therefore Jesus and God are one! Those who don't believe it are narrow-minded and need Jesus.

Many people have a problem comprehending the simple concept of the Trinity because they base their understanding of God's existence on the way humans exists. Humans normally have one personality; therefore, God must have one personality. If God has more than one then He suffers from some disorder. The first problem with this is it assumes that God will exist as we do. Sure it's a disorder for humans to have multiple personalities, but God isn't human. The concept of the Trinity is simple; 3 personalities and one Spirit (or Divine Substance, whatever you want to call it). What is so amazing is this idea is not alien to us. For example, when my brother showed me the game Warcraft 2 it featured a 2-headed ogre. Each head had it's own personality, but my brother and his friends counted them by the number of bodies, not personalities. Therefore, one two-headed ogre was one ogre, two were two ogres, and so on. God is similar, but instead of one body He has one Spirit. It is amazing that people think so natuarally of the one, but then get completely confused with the other. The reason Jesus may not seem to be God is because when He came to earth as a man, He took on the role of a man. A man should be humble, obedient, etc. to God; therefore, Jesus acted in this manner. Similar to a prince exchanging places with a pauper. While a pauper, he puts aside his princely authority and powers, but he still really is a prince. Likewise, Jesus put aside His divine authority and power and humbled Himself as a man. Read Philippians 2:6-8; the Bible can explain things better than I.

After looking at some of your answers i decided I must clarify for you what the others are missing.
First let me say that I agree with you and for the following reason.
Yes God and Jesus are with the Holy Spirit the three persons of the trinity and in that sense are one.
However I, as a Christian Pastor fear denying GOD by claiming that Jesus is God.
Therefore I say, as you did.
God is the Father
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and my savior.
The Holy Spirit is my guide and comforter.
May God Bless.

God is a trinity, The Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit
"The grace of the Lord Jesus, and the loveof God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus said "I and my Father are one." John 10:30. That kinda clears it up, doesn't it?

They are part of the trinity. You can not have one without the other. There is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit (some call him the Holy Ghost). God is the father. Jesus is the son. The Holy Spirit is the one who is here on earth with you.

Untill you understand the duel nature of Christ, you will never get it.
In a nut shell.
God is Father of all created.
Father God saw that mankind was sinfull.
Father God saw that mankind could not keep his laws.
Father God provided himself a way to get man back to himself.
Father God is a Spirit, and is holy, is the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit split a human egg and was the Father of that egg.
A boy was born and named Jesus.
Jesus was a human being and the Divine creator, Father God in one body.
The human body died on the cross, the Divine being in him resurected him.
Jesus is the only God you will ever see for Father God is a Spirit.
Jesus will prove this when he comes back, he will be ill and kick butt, grace will be gone and he will rule with a rod of iron.

Christianity says God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are three different people in one, like a 3-leaf clover.

Jesus is not God and never claimed to be. Jesus is the greatest prophet of God because God crowned him so by raising him from death first and placing his throne next to his own. Christianity is a form of paganism.

John 10:33 I and My Father are One

Hmm not in line with your comment. Yet those were Jesus exact words. Not taken out of context, not meaning anything else, just plain and simple .... He and the Father are One.

But have a great day anyway!
