Brain tumors start in or on the brain. If it got to the point where it was actually pushing your skull out into a bump, you would be in too much pain to stand up.

You could have a lot of things, but not a brain tumor. See a doctor.

your brain is covered by your skull if there was a lump on your brain you couldn't feel it threw the bones of your skull.
That does not mean that the lump is nothing. It could be a different type of tumor and still needs to be checked out by a Dr.

I believe they start a very small, inside the brain. They just become larger and larger as time progress. Most tumors never reach the size of a lump, if it found in the brain.

there are many types of tumors. "squishy" ones are usually fatty tumors and are harmless. however, ANY unusual lump you find should be reported to your physician. let him make the call. if you can't afford to go to a physician, look for a local health fair. it's a great place to get exams and such for free :)

Brain tumors grow in your brain, not outside your skull. So maybe you bashed your head.

If it doesn't go away in a few days, go see a doctor.

there was this woman who had a lump on her head and it ended up being a maggot just under her scalp. It was huge and disgusting.

Is it on your scalp? It may be a sebaceous (oil) gland that has become impacted and nothing to worry about.
