I love rap with all my heart. I love Eminem the most. Personally i like rap because yeah its bad a lot of the time but it also has a lot of meaning with a beat that i like unlike country which the people that sing that crap cant even talk good english and the beat sucks

This is almost the most retarded question on here. I feel slightly retarded for even answering. People like rap generally because they can groove to the beat, it mostly tells a story, and/or because they can relate to the artist or lyrics.

Rap music is not all bad. Just like all country or hard rock is not bad. Rap can be soft (see LL Cool J's "I need love" or hard). It can have a dance rhythm or straight up make your head bang. I like it because it generates from my peoples on the motherland. It started with tribes beating a drum and telling stories as a means to pass down history. It was carried over to America as a signal to other slaves when it was safe to runaway. Brooklyn, NY took it and told the story of the 'hood with "The Message" and after that all the young cats came along and turned it into something else. So now its about their rough neighborhood, baby mama drama, the goverment, and sometimes it's simply about diamonds, drugs, and hoes. It all depends on what artist you're listening to... My favorites are LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, old school rap from the '80's and '90's too.

It's fast and up moving you just have to get up and dance to it even when you dont even know how to dance. most people understand and can relate to it.or just like the beat.im pretty sure even you have liked acouple of rap songs even though you might not understand what they were sayin its okay most people dont. A song may have the same meaning we just put it in different words and a different beat.here some lyrics from sum songs:

because its cool and its good dancing music and i love to dance and im listen to rap music right now and hip-hop is good to and thats good dancing music to.But some rap is annoying because you cant understand what they say and it gives me a head ache!!!!
