yes. Campbells better. I tried it on myhusband, one day....and he right away said something was wrong with his 'tomatoe' soup (it was a store brand)

It depends on if you are making it as soup or using it to cook with. As soup, Cambells tastes better but when using it in a recipe I think it is hard to tell the difference

I always buy the off brand. But then I am usually adding other ingredients to the soup, even if it's just soup and not part of some recipe. And I don't really like tomato soup.

well cambells is good but they are high in sodium but that's what I think well they are much better than the other soups

For making casserols I prefer the cheaper brands. Like cream of mushroom and I buy the cheapest forms of beef and chicken broth.

Absolutely...Campbells condensed, unlike other brands, is loaded with salt and usually doesn't have any substantive ingredients in it. Go with Progresso or the premium Campbells brands if you can't make your own.
