Duncan Heinz is the brand perfered by most chefs. In fact for a generic cake batter that you intend to modify, Duncan Heinz Butter flavor is the best thing to go with.

I believe it's Betty that has the pudding in the mix! It's great, but just don't cook it the full time, really watch it so it doesn't get dry and it will be as moist as if you got it froma bakery!
