Off the top of my head, we recycle newspapers, cardboard, glass, metal, plastic, and plastic bags.

The recycle container gets bigger each week, while the trash container gets smaller.

I suspect this is the way it's supposed to work.

Things that don't get recycled include garbage, pizza boxes, egg cartons (fiber ones), furniture, appliances, and oil/paint/chemical containers.

all Cans
All glass
All plastic
newspapers
junk mail
magazines

I do plastic, newspaper, aluminum cans, and phonebooks. I also have a mulch pile to throw my foodscraps in along with the weeds from my garden. In the fall, I put the stuff back in the garden to keep the cold off the roots of my flowers. Cans that vegetables come in don't recycle because they are different metals layered together.

Recycling here is automatic. So I recycle everything that the city of Washington, D.C. recycles.

I do recycle. I recyle aluminium, paper, and plastic. There are a lot of little things that I don't recycle, because the place I take my recyclables only accept certain items.
But definately:: soda cans, plastic bottles, plastic sacks, paper sacks, and etc.

We tend to only recycle Paper and thats because we are given a box to put it in, we dont actually make a big effort... I suppose thats kinda bad so..

Recycle aluminum, plastic, phone books, and xmas trees. Not glass; heard that it is not worth it; more pollution to recycle that to remake and it does not hurt to toss it.
