First, you'll need at least 3 bottles of it. Second, you don't say what a 'good price' is. $50 for a Boroli Barolo 2000 is a great deal considering the quality.
If a 'good price' is under $20, look for Maryhill Sangiovese Reserve.
If a 'good price' is under $50, look for Fontalloro red table wine. Also, many 2000 Barbarescos and Barolos can fall in this price range - that is the best year for those wines (but 01 is fine as well)
If a good price is under $75, look for 2000 Borolo Baroli. A great wine at that price.
If you can't fine these at your local wine shop or grocery store, talk the the person there about helping you decide. Tell them what you are serving and what your price range is and they can help you pair it to something great. Good luck and have a great dinner party!

You will not believe the price of this, but I bought a bottle of Citra brand Montepulciano for $5.99 for a 1.5 litre bottle. It is wonderful. It has to be the 2004 vintage, because I have had this brand before, and it was nothing special. I also tried a 2004 Placido for $7.99 for the big bottle. My wife liked that one even better. I also recommond the 2004 Citra Trebbiano, for a white wine, Same price. It is light and can be served chilled for summer. It has great floral and citrus flavors. Mmmm.

A really good red wine from Tuscany is one called Santa Cristina. Other names on the label are Antinori and Toscana.
It's fairly easy to find at liquor stores and even some supermarkets. It costs about $9 a bottle.

Good, and easy to find, is the Gabbiano Chianti DOCG, available in most chain supermarkets and consistently a quality quaff with the minimum of old world barnyard funk.

Anything made by Carlo Rossi, you can get a gallon of Sangria for about 10 bucks, and it's actually very tasty. I think the priciest gallon he has is the chianti.
