I would probably stick with the wavy theme previously suggested, but sweep it into a half-up-do (but not up too high) and put a couple flowers (probably tropical, not daisies and definitely not birds-o-paradise) where you gather the hair so that the hair appears as though the flowers are holding the hair swept back from your face.

If it's hawaiian, i would recommend you to straighten your hair and put a flower to the side...

Try making it wavy. Go to a Salon to make is wavy. Put a Daisy in your hair.
