Don't you think that whole theme is just a LITTLE overworked by now? That's based on about the same logic as supposed "satanic messages" people hear on old records played backwards. When religious fruitcakes want to make a demon or a bad guy out of somebody, they'll grab at straws to the point of the psychotic. Sadly, they know that there are always a certain percentage of the population who wants to believe, so bad, in something negative about somebody, they can't see reason from schizophrenia.

First of all, President Reagan is dead...and has been for I believe almost 2 years now.
It is also American thinking that says that the anti-christ will be from America. There is no evidence in that, it is just American thinking. In fact, there is more evidence of the fact that the anti-christ will come from Europe, and that Prince William (who, when he takes the thrown will be called King Arthur since that is his actual first name) is the anti-christ and that it will be made known when he takes the thrown in England. So, wishful thinking on the part of Americans that the anti-christ will be American...Happy Hoping Though.

It's always fascinating to me how Christians fail to recognize that the antichrists of history have always claimed to be Christian themselves (Napolean and Hitler both made this claim and were upheld by the Christians in their countries as "saviors" - if only in a metaphorical sense). What better guise and method of leading Christians astray than to pretend to be Christian himself? There really is nothing in the Bible about the Beast leading Muslim or Taoists or Buddhists astray, so what would be the point in appearing to be something other than Christian at the start?

Reagan taught Christians to worship Mammon. His decade is called the decade of selfishness. Reaganomics preaches the delusion that greedy people will kindly share their wealth with others better than it could be redistributed by the government. Granted, there IS government corruption, but expecting those who prefer to amass wealth than spend it to share is horribly naive or deceptive. The level of such generosity compared to government spending is hardly worth comparing.

Someone made the point yesterday about the writers of scriptures had to make obtuse references about things going on in their time, and that the reference to 666 as the mark of the beast had something to do with a Roman emperor of the period.

My Grandmother was born on june 6 and we just celebrated her 82 birthday and she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I look forward to growing old.

I dont think the devil would go through so much to get hear then grow old and die. Just does not sound right.
