Well I beleive that all good inspirations come from the Lord... so yes I think it is highly likely that God played a role in the creation of the miracle that is sliced bread.
(Since he created the very sub-atomic particles that make it up...)

Wow...great question. I will definitely watch this question to learn the answer. My opinon (and it's merely a guess) is that God gave man the knowledge for it all, so in a way God created it all. However, the Devil will influence our thoughts, so maybe he actually influenced man with the idea to actually cut the bread. Hmm...much thought needed..
