QURAN CONFIRMS THE EXISTENCE OF SUBATOMIC PARTICLES

“The Unbelievers say, ‘Never to us will come The Hour’: say, ‘Nay! But most surely, By my Lord, it will come Upon you – by Him Who knows the unseen – From Whom is not hidden The least little atom In the Heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less Than that, or greater, but Is in the Record Perspicuous.’” [Al-Qur’aan 34:3]
(A similar message is conveyed in the Qur’an in 10:61.)

This verse refers to the Omniscience of God, His knowledge of all things, hidden or apparent. It then goes further and says that God is aware of everything, including what is smaller or bigger than the atom. Thus the verse clearly shows that it is possible for something smaller than the atom to exist, a fact discovered only recently by modern science.

We recently discovered that atom can be divided, which proves false the dalton's atomic theory about 100 years ago. Quran mentions this 1400 years ago.

DONT YOU PONDER ON THIS ??? WHO WOULD HAVE TOLD THIS TO MUHAMMAD PEACE BE UPON HIM ?

I told earlier that the smallest thing which is called in Arabic is ZARRA ... which if you translated into english it means the smallest component of an element. and that is ATOM.

first of all, Muhammad pbuh did not write the Quran as he was illetrate . secondly, God revealed to him and he remember word by word and so as companions of Prophet Muhammad pbuh and from then,, even today we have 9 million people who have memorized the whole quran word by word and Quranic text is been preserved..

thirdly,, we believe in the earlier revelations, i.e. torah and injeel, and others as well, which was revealed to earlier prophets before Muhammad pbuh. the source of that is from same God. therefore, if quran matches with certain aspects of torah or New testament, it does not mean that quran is copied from them. and these earlier scriptures was corrupted, thats why God revealed Quran..
hope this answers :)

What?

I'm fairly sure what your saying is that because a book says that MAYBE there's something smaller than an atom, though brings no proof to support it, there must be a God.

This is absolutely false. And, when did we even come up with atomic theory? Oh yeah, the 1800's. When was the Qu'ran written? Sometime around the year 700 (forgive me, I'm no scholar of Islam but that's the best guess I can make). Obviously, the word atom is a mistranslation because something like an atom had never even been discovered yet!

Come off it! Be serious. "Atom" is really a Greek word, not Arabic. The English translation of the koran simply uses a Greek-English word for an Arabic word used by Muhamad. Religious scriptures can be used to prove ANYTHING!

These documents you refer to had as their intent the concept that God is all-seeing, all-knowing, etc. To explain this in the text, the "atomic" concept was used as hyperbole to get the point across. The word "atom" was probably not used in the original text because that word had not been invented yet, and therefore would have been meaningless, and thus the text would have had a meaningless point to men of that time. These texts do not have portions that are meaningless today, so future versions of these texts will probably incorporate future words and concepts that we do not have in our lexicon today, in order for the texts to still have relevancy to future generations.

Have you ever pondered this: that Muhammad basically followed the Apostles around and took their teachings as well as a number of the teachings found in the Hebrew Scriptures, which did already exist at the time, and just twisted them around and put them in his own words and added a few things, like having more than one wife for instance, for his own selfish reasons and for the sake of glorifying himself and to further his own cause?

Atomic theory comes out of Greek philosophy predating Muhammad by at least almost a millennia.

The thought itself (spirit of not form of) also shows up in the Hebrew Scriptures and the Christian Gospels in several places.

Islamic Science sounds like this:

... 'When Allah was done with His creation He created two suns from the light of His Throne. His foreknowledge told Him that He would efface one and change it to a moon; so the moon is smaller in size."

wasnt this translated from what it was orginally wrote in? so dont you think it could have been like "the smallest object" not a atom but maybe the translators thought this put the point across better

um.. have you even read what you wrote??? it states "least little atom" (I seriously doubt the word atom exists in the koran) then it states "nor is there anything less...".. so it contradicts what you said about sub-atomic particles... thus koran is false.. there is no science in the koran!

what part of NOR IS THERE ANYTHING LESS dont you understand.. there is something less that atomic particals that is sub-atomic particles.. end of story... my english is just fine. your koran is fake and has no science.

dear,

if you bring them all the evidence in the world they wouldn't believe unless with a permission from God.

and that's what God told Muhammad when Muhammad was frustrating and feeling sad to those who turn away from him. God told Muhammad that you do not show the true path to those who you love, but i am the one who shows the true path to those who surrender and submit to me.

leave them with their ignorant until the day they have promised.
