I really believe we go to heaven.

My grandmother passed away when my mother was only four years old. Just recently my mother passed away. One week before my mother passed away she would have dreams and she would speak to her mother in her sleep. I really believe there is a better place after we pass on. A place where your sickness is completely gone and you are young and beautiful.

Being a Christian, I believe that the spirit leaves the body and is escorted to either Heaven or Hell depending on whether or not one has accepted Jesus Christ as the Son of God who came in the flesh, was crucified, was resurrected, and ascended to Heaven to sit at God's right hand side. Death is still a mystery for those who are living but having worked in the funeral industry and being there when death occurs and hearing experiences from Christians and non Christians, I can say that there is a real difference in death experience between the two groups. It is almost a Heaven and Hell difference.
Some think that when natural life ends the spirit also ends. This contradicts every major religion in the world. Personally, based on my own life experiences, I don't buy this somber and utterly depressing view.
I would suggest reading the Bible and the other religions holy books as well as accounts of near death experiences and scientific reports.

The answer depends on what you believe in, cause nobody will ever be sure. If humans does not have souls nothing happens after death, the person who dies does not exist anymore cause the brain dies. If humans have souls, the soul doesn't die, but goes somewhere. Jews, Christians and Muslims thing that good souls goes to a good place (Heaven), and bad souls goes to a bad place(Hell). Hindu's, Buddhists and Scintologists thing that souls of those who dies goes to a new born child, or new born animal.

It depends on how you lived your lifehere on earth.IF you believed in God and His Son and the fact that Jesus died for our sins so that we can go to heaven, all we have to do is ask for forgiveness. If you lived your life without God in it then you are doomed to forever in hell. How sad it is for those who dont believe. There is life after death and I am so happy because I would not be able to stand knowing that I will never see my loved ones again. After life with God is the best thing not forever in hell.

You either go sit on a cloud, bored out of your mind in heaven. Or you go burn in hell. No, that is just a joke. Really you decay. If anyone wants to argue, they must first find out to have a leg to stand on, if you think otherwise you must die to be sure. If there is an afterlife prove it.

Well in the bible it says when you die your spirit leaves and your body goes back to ground to which it came from. You know Adam was made from the dust of the earth.

I flatlined 20 years ago. I was dead for over 15 minutes.
I saw nothing, felt nothing, for over 15 minutes.
But, I did hear the machine, and remember thinking, "That sound means my heart stopped....."

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Our soul goes to Heaven if we are serving God when we die. Otherwise, it goes to Hell to burn for Eternity. God says we can serve only One Master, Him or Satan.
