Nothing wrong with it, you are both adults

I am 23 and my husband is 29 almost 30. We have a 6 year difference and have been married for 5 years.
I went older because I was tired of all the games guys our age were playing. I wanted someone that was ready to settle down and make a life for themselves not just worry about when and where the next party was.
Now it would be different if you were only 10 and the guy was 18. Once you become an adult and start to live in the real world as you get older the age gap seems to be less of a concern for others. If you truly love the guy and he loves you then it doesn't matter if there is 15 year difference! That is between the two of you as consenting adults!!!

No, you're legal. The question is are you guys on the same level, mentally and emotionally? Do you want more than he or he more than you? This could happen in relationships with people of the same age, but more common when there is an age difference. You may expect more from him since he's older or vice versa. I've rambled a lot, but the fact of the matter is age is just a number and if you're compatible, who cares how old the two of you are. You're both consenting adults.

Hell I am 21 and I have dated guys that were 8 years older than me. To be on the safe side I would wait until your 21 to date older men because in some people opinion it wouldn't look right to date someone that was 30 and your only 18.

Are u kidding. 8 years is nothing. Go for it. I don't know what the fuss is about age gaps in relationships. As long as you love each other it'll be ok. Then again, I think that any more than 20 years is a tad too much. But 8 years is good. Go for it pettle.

when i was 18 i was with someone 15yrs older than me.
We got on well and were together for 4yrs.
The thing that made us part was that i wanted children and he already had 2 from his previous marriage and didn't want anymore. I think the best answer i could give you is if you make each other happy and want the same things out of life then age doesn't really matter.Do what you feel is right.
Good luck and be happy.

One of my friends has a relationship with a man 30 years older then she is! It works out fine.

8 years is not that incommon. The older you get, the lesser the difference will seem.

Do what makes you happy.

I'm 21 and going out with a 37 year old. At your age (18) I went out with a 40 year old. Age is just a number honey.

i don't see anything wrong with it... for as long as you like the guy, and he likes you too or for as long as you guys both love each other then there's nothing wrong. =D i for one have been dating someone from webdatedotcom... he happens to be years older than i am. but so far this whole relationship thing between the two us is pretty much going well. age is just a number my dear and let it not be the basis of your relationship.=D

Not at all. I am with a guy who is 16 years older than me I am 23 he is 38 but we are in love and that's all that's important. Don't let people tell you it's wrong when all that matters is that YOU are HAPPY!!!!!
You only get one shot at life so make sure you listen to your heart always......
