make sure you caught him in the act and yell "no" to startle him and make him stop instantly. let him out immediately to the area where you want him to pee and say "potty". he would associate the word "potty" to poop and pee. if he poop and pee in the designated area, give him lots of praise like "good potty". don't scold him when the deed is already done, he would not know why you're so angry.
make sure you let him out after playing, eating, sleeping and every 3 hours. dogs can hold (age in months + 1 hr), in your case 3 hours.
just do that over and over again until he gets the idea that the house is not a bathroom.
advice for new owners- do not use potty training pads, it would give idea to dogs that it's ok to potty inside the house. as much as possible, just train your dogs to potty outside and clean if their they have accidents inside.

First, you should invest in some Nature's Miracle for the pet odors/ stains inside. Follow the directions. It works great.
As for your little boy, As soon as you see him start, yell no to him, loud enough to startle him and make him stop. If that doesn't work, keep a coffee can of pennys nearby and shake them when you catch him. Immediately, I mean don't wait to clean up the spot, take him outside to the area where you want him to pee.
Try not to leave a lot of water out for him all day. And keep a good schedule with going outside, say like every hour at first, then after about two weeks or so, gradually lenghten the amount of time between outtings. I know it seems like a lot of time to invest now, and you are probably very busy, but it will payoff with a happily housebroken young pup real soon.
Make sure when he goes to the bathroom outside that you recognize this; kindly praise him with lots of loving petting and "good boys." He will learn quicker that way. I am not one to give bones or treats for going outside, but if it works for you by all means do it.
Have fun with your new baby and Good luck!
*** I don't necessaritly agree with indoor pet training pads. Your still allowing and telling your dog that it is ok to go in the house. They do learn to go on the pads but then you have another habit that is hard to break.

Start by crate training. Watch for it to start sniffing the floor in a circle area. Get it outside right away. Carry it or it will stop on the way and go. They normally will have to go withing a half hour of eating or drinking. They will go right away after playing and sleeping also. You want to use a lot of praise when it does it outside. Be patient. They can't hold it for long at this age.

Take your pup out frequently to one specific spot in your yard---don't say anything to him until he pees---don't play just wait until he pees. Then praise him In a week he should have the idea that he should go there always. Don't punish him for an accident----at two months he is a little too young to have complete bladder control.

What I had to do to my dogs is set up a routine with them. After they eat take them outside after they drink take them outside. If they do have an accident in the house you show them where they messed up fuss at them not yell. Dogs understand humans perfectly. Dogs are just like children. But you keep that routine eventually it will let you know when it has to go to the restroom also when you take it out ask it does it have to go poty what this does is build routine after the dog catches on all you have to do is say you gotta go poty? and it will run to the door. This does take time and patience.

newspaper and lots of praise for peeing outside, try training pads and crate training.
Best stuff for pee stains is called "Kids 'n' Pets" look it up on amazon.
But the newspaper and nose in the pee is best.
I would smack mine with a rolled newspaper, put their face in it and then put them in their crate until i was done cleaning it. The whole time I was cleaning I would be scoldig them (bring the crate within visual range so your dog could see you are mad.) After cleaning it, immediately take the dog outside and let him relieve himself for what ever is left and praise him. follow him around so to make sure he goes and use words like "ok lets go" routinely to let them know it is time to go inside. (when my two hear me say that they stop sniffing and relieve themselves.)

It sounds mean, but it works. Show him the pee, rub his nose in it, say "NO! BAD DOG!" and then take him outside onto the grass. After a few rubs, he'll scratch to go out.

talk to your vet in regards to the issue. Male dogs love to pee in the house as a way of marking their territory. The vet may have a solution for you

Leave him outside for a little longer..
It sounds like he wants you to "SEE" him p[e
I do not know why
If you have a friend with a trained dog .. most times they will teach the younger ones. Believe me it is a monkey see monkey do kind of thing.
Can he be ...mad at you? sometimes they do things like that to get your attention
