From the infomercial it says it's a program for life...(the first 6 weeks gets you healthy). I've seen this question has been posted a few times, but the answers don't seem to describe the actual program. That's why I'm posting the question in this section...seems more people read this section than the dieting section

Ok here's the deal. You DO LOSE WEIGHT ON THIS PROGRAM. But personally to me, it's not a program you can keep for life.

The program as follows:

You answer questions about your past and present health, and your future goals, habits, etc. That determines what "type" you are.

You then move on to your blueprint, that determines what exercises are best for your problem areas.

After that you look at what proteins, carbs, etc. you are allowed to eat. That was determined by what "type" you discovered you were in that test.

For example, there are A, B, C, D, and E carbs. I was an A, so my only form of carbs or proteins were white eggs and/or chicken. That is just an example.

So every day I would have to eat 2 white eggs, for a snack I would eat 2 ounces of chicken and 2 strawberries, and so on. My options were very limited. Yours might be different depending on what type you are.

Although I think that the basis of this program is great because you are eating healthy, and exercising, I do think it's unrealistic. It was hard for me to squeeze 6 meals a day at the same time every day. Plus it was hard not having variety. I did it for a month and lost about 20 pounds.

If you can tolerate all of that, go for it! If you like having a little more flexibility in your diet, I suggest you don't. But keep in mind this is just my opinion.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
