I have a friend who is in love with owls and she wants to know what people think of them...

We have a screech owl in our back woods, and it's a wonderful thing to hear him in the middle of the night whooo-whooooing! He keeps the mouse population down around here. I did have a miniature poodle we had to keep on a leash at night when we took him out, though, because I was always afraid that Mr Owl would consider my JC his supper!! LOL

I have no opinion on owls at all. The only time I think of an owl is when I see one, which is very seldom.

I think owls are adorable. They are amazing creatures who have evloved much differently than other birds. They can turn their head 360 degrees! No other animal can do that! Plus they got big gorgeous eyes.

tell your friend to go find a barn owl and have it as a pet. they're quite intersting birds of prey. me? i prefer raising peregrine falcons.
