They told me not to have kids if i dont have a good education and a job cause it will be hard to handle all three of them, plus always be a leader and not a follower, cause followers dont have a mind of their own. And yes i do still follow the advice and yes i would gladly pass it on to my kids.

My dad once told me that "it's all about the almighty dollar". He said that's what motivates most people, and now that I'm older and more jaded, I agree with him.
My dad also tells me to be sure to tell my husband every day how much I love him and I appreciate him, and I follow his advice on that matter.
I have already given that same advice to my own kids.

Let's see...
Buy low; sell high (which I don't use since I'm not an investor and probably will not pass along to my kids).
Make me a father-in-law before you make me a grandfather (which I've done twice in the proper order and will probably pass along, but in some less provacative fashion).
Pray about it (which I use all the time and do pass along to my kids).

"Go! You might meet someboday!" - my stepmom said this, and she was right on. I'd absolutely recommend that one.
My dearly departed grandpa also gave me this wonderful gem of advice that helps me deal with people who are jerks: "Consider the source." That I've found to be one of the most true things of all.
And my dad of course said that going to college and furthering my education was important, and I'm definitely glad I listened to him! Thanks Daddy!

Think before you act. Whatever you want to do, use your mind before you do.
Yes I still follow that act.
I will give this advise to my kids.

Get used to it boy, it's going to be like this the rest of your life. No, that would be second best. The serenity prayer would be the best.
