Culture has alot to do with it. Maturity has to be the key. It depends on how serious this relationship is. At the same time your 18 year old friend should give you some space because at sixteen there is alot of growing up to be done. trust me!

If it is something that you have to hide, then dont date him. But if your parents and friends are cool with the age, then it is all good. The saying age aint nothin but a number is for the 18 and older. When you are still a minor age is everything. Good Luck.
