I talked to my boyfriend and he said that in september if he leaves and he knows he's going to be gone for a long he wouldn't want me to wait. He told me I shouldn't have to wait that I should just go on with my life, and I told him that I would wait for him as long as I have to. We've only been dating for almost 2 weeks, but I know that I would wait on him. Is he trying to tell me that he wont wanna be with me when he gets out? or is he just being respectful?

Sounds a little awkward to me that after only two weeks he would talk like that. I think you should absolutely follow your own intuition.....if you feel weird about it, trust that. Don't get me wrong he could just be nice saying that and want you to respond with adoration and love....or he could be saying that because he is not that serious about your relationship. If saying he doesn't want you wait actually mean that he doesn't want to worry about being faithful when he goes away?.......I don't mean to sound like a Jedi---but you really need to let your feelings and intuition help you with this darling!.....Good Luck!

He doesn't want you to wait for him because most likely he will not be faith-full while he is gone. Not sure the ages of both of you, but young men have urges and he will have his chances with other women. If you are 25 or younger don't wait just do your own thing while you are apart. If it is meant to be, it will happen when he gets back.

With the endless possibilities for meeting and hooking up with other people, a two-week long relationship isn't anything to hold your breath over. He realizes that, he wants you to as well.

I think he is being perfectly honest with you, and that is a lot better than a lot of people.

Try and let this issue lay low, and see what the heat of summer brings...
