Hold on to it, it is the most precious gift you have to give your husband. When people say they can't believe your still a virgin respond by saying" I'm so sorry your not". They don't realize what problems giving up your virginity to soon and to the wrong person will bring.

Sweetie, teen pressure is terrible and what makes it even worse is that SO much of what you hear is totally not true. I was 18, graduated from HS and with a wonderful boyfriend that loved me. It really is difficult to truly tell in the beginning whether or not it's lust or care/love. Time will tell. No rush. If there is a rush on the boys part, I'd most definitely question the motives. I won't lie, it is very hurtful to realize that mom and dad were right (which, by the way happens a LOT more than we give them credit for!) and that boys are out for one thing, and they'll say and do anything to get "it". I tell this to my 15-yr.-old teen - be YOU, that is what is TRULY cool, NOT following the crowd. You can do it.

OMG! Ur friends are all stupid arent they. I was in 8Th grade when I lost mine. And Im with the same person and I still regret it. Trust me Im older now (out of school) and men like women who havent been around its a hard thing to find these days be diferent. Thats what men want, Not someone thats like everyone else that they can find anywere please dont do it. My cousin lost it when she was 14 and now she has a kid then she did it again when she was 16 and had another kid. Do it when ur really in love with someone not because ur a follower and all ur friends are.

I was 14, and if I could turn back the hands of time I would. You may think that you love a person for all the right reasons, and when you get older findout it was for all the wrong reasons. I was with my first for fours years after i lost my virginity, but it's not worth it.

yeah, i'm still a virgin too and i get the same responses...maybe everyone expects u to be the girl that would most likely be gettin around..i know that sounds mean, but maybe they're also meaning it as in "wow, how can u hold out that long" and it's a good thing..but definitely don't loser ur virginity until ur ready and don't let others pressure u..good luck!

girl, you should wait a while. Finish school first. I am sure you will get plenty of guys then. I am a virgin in college. Turning 20 soon. I am happy being a virgin because I came very close to doing it. Looking back on it, I have no regrets. I want to get my studies done first.

don't worry about if everyone lost their virginity, just concentrate on you.unfortunately your virginity is something that once lost can never be regained. there is no rush.if everyone keeps teasing you just say at least i won't be a teen parent b/c i'm not sexually active like you all. wait as long as you need to. i have a friend who is 20 years old and is still a virgin and i don't clown her. to each is own. just remember to make it special b/c boys are young and immature they'll take your virginity and run and if they say no they are lying. take my advice and wait until your physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially ready to lose your virginity. don't become a statistic.
