Don't watch, read, listen or subscribe to it??
Instead of whining and crying and generally having a fit over it, because darn it, if you don't like it, no one else should see, read, hear, or get it!

Yeah... I should have known that the question would be misconstrued.
Legality was implied. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing. So, if you feel like you need to whine, then fine... you have the freedom to whine. But not to do away with something I like because you don't.

As long as you aren't harming someone else while doing whatever, I think you should have the right to do it.

This is not a "general" philosophy. I agree with it when it comes to radio programs or tv shows. However, if it is a major policy of the country, then you'd better believe I'm going to whine, cry, and have a HUGE fit about it if I don't agree with it.

Then whats the point of having a freedom called FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Thats where opinions come into action, We all have different opinions and have the right to express those opinions. Whether we agree or not.

Some issues are just matters of taste, or the lack thereof. Those are the things that one can just turn a blind eye to, change the station, tune out, or otherwise ignore.
Atrocities and heinous conditions like genocide, slavery, the Holocaust, oppression, racism, and the current Presidential administration, rape, and child abuse, among others, require us to make our opinions known and voices heard. It's our mandate as human beings.

I agree, that's why my TV is on rarely. Talk about the dumbing down of the American public! I do a lot of reading and listen to NPR, mostly to the music. I like to learn differing concepts, and much of what the entire media has to offer is hyped, glorified garbage, wrapped up with a pretty bow.

I agree. I try to avoid music, books, movies & newspapers that I know I disagree with.
The Dixie Chicks tricked me but Micheal Moore I could see a mile away. CNN is easy to see but ABC & NBC are sneakier.
I try not to whine but my voice is always heard at the legislature.

Depends on what it is. I don't like Myspace so I don't use it. Its unimportant. I don't like the actions of the Bush administration, so I practice my right of free speech. Because it is important.
If you don't agree, that is your right.
