Best Chicken Pasta Salad
2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
3/4 cup steak sauce
1 (12 ounce) package fusilli pasta
2 cubes chicken bouillon
1 Vidalia onion, diced
2 avocados - peeled, pitted and diced
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup Ranch-style salad dressing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Place breasts into a glass baking dish and marinate in steak sauce for 15 to 60 minutes.
Grill chicken until no longer pink and the juices run clear. Remove from grill, and chop into bite-size pieces.
To a large pot of boiling water, add bouillon cubes and pasta. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain, and rinse under cold water.
In a large bowl, combine chicken, pasta, onion, avocados and tomatoes. Mix in salad dressing, cover, and refrigerate until chilled.

Pasta salad is sooo easy and very hard to screw up.
Just take cooked pasta, like bowties or twists, and mix it with ceasar, greek, or italian dressing, the oil and vinegar variety's, or whatever you have on hand open in the fridge, sometimes I even mix dressings and it taste's even better! (balsamic and basil dressing works good too!) When pasta is cool, add veggies like tomatoes, celery, cucumbers, carrots, brocolli, crisp asparagus. Make sure all veg's are bitesized so that you can get a good taste of flavors in each mouhtful. Then let everything sit for a while to soak in the dressing.
My friends all like when I add chuncks of feta and green olives cut in 1/2. Experiment a little. Pretty much anything works.
Oh, sometimes I throw in little pieces of granny smith apples. They have a nice tangy, sweet bite and they soak in the dressing well.

This is a pasta salad I get asked to make for large gatherings so you might have to adjust it a little.
1 lg bag of tri colored noodles (cooked ,drained and cooled)
2- 8 oz. bag of shredded cheese (you choice)
1 can of black olives, sliced
1 jar of green olives sliced
1/2 lb of hard salami cut into cubes
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
At least on bottle of Italian salad dressing
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup fresh diced parsley (optional)
Mix all of the ingredients together and refrigerate. You may have to add more Italian dressing because the noodles absorb the liquid.

I cheat when it comes to making pasta salad. I use the Betty Crocker Suddenly Pasta Salad. It's truly delicious. My favorite is the Ranch and Bacon....Yummmm.

cook some shell macaroni (small bag). After it is cooked drain and add 1-2 cans of tuna, 1-2 cups of chopped celery, add salad dressing (miracle whip) mix till it is all moist and then add a can of peas. (this is all to your liking if your not big on tuna put 1 can, same with the celery etc.) chill in the fridge till cold and then serve. My favorite.

Hmmm....I like to use bow tie noodles. Boil them then add carrots, broccoli, red onions, green olives, celery, and then cover with Italkin salad dressing. Mix everything together and let sit in the refrigerator for a few hours...Its best when its really cold...Mmmm...

this is what I do:"
You need a bag of those twisty color pasta noodles & boil them.
I cut up carrots & onions & throw them in right after the pasta is done to "blanch" them. I usually use wishbone robusto italian dressing. I add garlic seasoning, cucumber, hard boiled egg(the white only) cauliflower, green/red peppers & mozzerella cheese.
