garlic, lemon, pepper, pretty much any herb. Dill, rosemary, cumin. Also, the pepper family like cayenne.

If you don't know what types you like, try the Mrs. Dash brand for various mixed flavors. Mrs. Dash was originally created for people on low-sodium diets.

Watch out if you buy things like lemon pepper from other brands. They often add salt. Read the labels before you buy.

Also, check out the Food Network website and get Emeril's Essense recipes. They do contain salt, but you can omit that when you mix it up yourself. They're super easy to mix and it makes a LOT at once.

Most seasonings work best cooked INTO the food... but I disagree with your assertion. Salt and Pepper are not the ONLY seasonings people put onto their food I put vinegar, Tabasco, Salsa, Crushed Red Peppers, and other such seasonings on many of my foods. Enjoy your meals

I have found Lemon Pepper to be really flavorful and complimentary on vegetables. Other foods: fresh ground black pepper, garlic, and a spice called Herbes de Provence.

Try using chile - about the same amount as the salt you would have used - tastes good with a very very slight heat - hi in vit C !

basil is a sweet taste that tastes nice on baby carrots with butter or without butter

Mrs. Dash is great if you dont want to use salt at all

Kale is really good when you sautee it in olive oil with garlic and Mrs. Dash chipotle seasoning.

If you use a good amount of pepper, it will taste a more salty, and you won't need to use salt.
