Record an incident on video. Not sure what the laws are in your area but verbal abuse qualifies as assault here. Have the pissant thrown in jail.

I have dealt with a lot of scums in my day and honestly the best thing to do is to contact your local police ( make sure it's the non-emergency number that you are calling) and they will take a report and in some cases talk to that adult neighbor. I find that if you yourself try to deal with the person it only seems to escalate, but if from the beginning the policce are contacted and they intervine it works out for the best.

If you are a guy, defend the honor of your daughter. Kick his a**!! If you are the mother, find somebody who would. Or beat him up too! Call somebody! But he has to be BIG! Call the police as a last resort.

Well you didn't really ask a question, but that is harrassment and you should call the police, especially since there is a child involved. Get a restraining order against him.

I would catch him in the act of it and confront him. You can also get a tape recorder and record the things he says to her and call the police with the evidence of harassment.
He needs to get a life.

call the police. No, get it on tape. Have your 12 year old have a tape recorder, and then give it to the police.

You're not giving us a whole lot of information. I'd like to know WHY he calls your daughter bad names? What has SHE done (IF anything) to generate this kind of response from him? What have YOU done (IF anything) to generate this kind of response from him?
There's a lot that you're not telling about the matter!

Start reporting him to the local police for harrasment, you need a paper trail. If he doesn't stop, then you have reason to file for an order of protection. You probably already do this, but it is worth saying..........what ever you do, please do not leave your daughter home alone................good luck
