I live in masnfield ohio and I need a car. I dont have any money to make a down payment, and I want a monthly payment under 300 a month. I dont have a car to get to car dealers and I am new to the area. Is there something I can do

look for a freecycle group in your area...go to yahoo groups...ours is Austinfreecycle.....good luck!

under 300 a month is not very hard... I bought a mitsubishi galant for 5000 with 70,000 miles on it and my payments are 180... a 13,000 car is about 280 a month with 5% interest over 5 years. You can buy a two year old civic with less than 30,000 miles on it and have a dependable car for less than 300 a month... For the most part it is all about the financing, go to your credit union or bank and see what they are willing to loan you. That is a good starting point, then you have a price range to look in. DON"T LET THE DEALER FINANCE YOU.

See if there are any auctions in you area. Also check local tow yards to see if you can buy a lein sale cars.
