i think they are scared people won't like them so they order a few and when people like you who want these buns actually get there it is usually too late because by that time they have run out.

Well, they will only figure it out if people keep asking for it. Why would they keep something as an option if no one ever asks for it?

probably because they cost more. It's all about making the most money off of the least.
