My boyfriend and I got into an arguement last night, he is 33 I'm 22. We said some bad things to eachother, one including that we were broke up, mind you we live together just moved in together a month ago. But see the thing is is that I talked to him about 20 minutes ago, and I was trying to go over what it is that we are going to do since the apartment is both ours. He said "Well you made the decision, and I'm sure I might go back to Puerto Rico" I kind of felt like he was just saying that so that I would plead with him, "don't go, stay here with me", but I already told him, we should try to work things out, but I feel like he is just wanting me to beg, what is your opinion about it and what should I say to him to resolve everything. I want to be with him, but I'm not going to beg, if he wan'ts to stay with me he should just say that, and not play games. Sorry so long and stupid, but need opinions!!

I do believe he is wanting you to beg. If you truly think your relationship is worth saving, do not beg, but talk with him. Communication is a big part of a relationship. Listen to your heart, as your heart will be broken. Good Luck!

Yes, that was a leverage statement he made. Stay broken up, let him go home. He's too old anyway, 11 years is quite a bit. When people fight and say bad things to each other, it becomes apparent that there are underlying issues that signal a poor relationship. You've got your twenties ahead of you, this guy has middle age ahead of him.

Go out and live life with someone your age. You will never be that young again. My 20's were awesome, carefree and filled with life experience.
Just my suggestion. Good luck!

don't beg him to stay...then the ball would be in his court. here's what i do whenever a girlfriend of mine starts acting like that. i simply say, "hey, if that's what you want to do, then that's your choice. but, it sounds like you've already made up your mind, so i guess there's no point talking about it." and that's it. wait and see what he says. i bet you he'll find a way to try and turn the tables.

DO NOT BEG. STAND YOU GROUNG. If he leaves you because you wont beg, go get someone else! Forget that. You look pretty to me so i think you can get someone else if not him!

You are right but some people love "playing games" -- it is so wrong. IMoving is a big deal. Is he really up for that?
