We started summer vacation 2 weeks ago and my boyfriend went to Ohio and is o.k if he doesn't call me during the 2 months of summer vacation? And we've been going out for 1 year and 6 months. What shouls I do? What should I think?

I dont know. I have the same problem with my boyfriend. We've been dating for 6 months and hes out of town and he hasnt called in like 3 weeks. I Guess its ok for them not to call when their on vacation but it does suck for us girls having to worry and think about all the bad things that could go wrong. I would just wait it out thats what im having to do. I hope you and your boyfriend are ok and that you have a good summer. Just dont worry have fun!

wow a year together and he doesnt call you from ohio at least once??? thats not right girl. My boyfriend is in Europe right now so it is WAYY too much money to call, and its only for 2 weeks, so if you had a situation like that then its understandable, but if hes still in the US and for a whole 2 months!! no. ughuh
it is not ok, because "IF he isnt calling you then youre not on his mind" !!! If he wanted to talk to you and missed you then he would find a way to call in those 2 months

A man who says he's your boyfriend, is in love with you, would want to call you no matter how far he is. He will contact you, he'll want to see how your day is going, and talking to you should be brightest part of the day if not the whole vacation while you're apart.
Sounds kind of fishy if he doesn't want to contact you for 2 months. Maybe there is someone in Ohio that he's interested in. Sorry.
I say go find someone who would love to talk you!

There is no excuse for not calling you even if he were in a whole different country. He can e-mail you or chat or anything and i don't think he can't get a phone and call you just to say i love you or something when my boyfriend leaves somewhere no matter where he's at he'll call me even if its gonna cost him for being long distance. If he can't find a way to communicate with you then he's lost interest in you. Do you at least have a # to call him to? If he CAN'T call you then you call him.

Does he have a way to call you? even if he dont he should still call. Even if he has to use a pay phone. He must not be thinking of you while he is there or he would call!!!!!!! Do you trust him? He maybe doing the summer thing with someone while he is gone. Can you not call him? If you cant that means he didnt give you a number to call

No it is not ok! and don't believe the hype. He shouldn't call you everyday but he should call you once in a while to let you konw he is ok and thinking of you. It makes you think what is he doing when I'm not around that he can't call me.
If doesn't want to be in a relationship then he should say so.

If he has ways to call you, then its not ok if he doesnt call. He should call you at least twice a week to at least see how things are going with you and vice versa. Sometimes, you will be the one who needs to call. That way, he doesnt really feel like its his obligation to call you all the time.
