how do you take a picture and the person appears like a ghost around the picture, with a nikon d50?

I'm not sure of the Nikon D50.

But one way would be to

1) Set a medium aperature (5.6 - 8)
2) Set the speed to bulp
3) Set the camera on a tripod
4) Press the shutter button
5) Slowly zoom in and out while keeping the shutter open
5) alternatively you can slowly move the camera back and forth
6) Close the shutter

Do this over a period of like 5 seconds and you should get a blurred person with semi-transparent features.
