Because I have tried it and it just doesnt work like cheese and bean dip. But tobasco sauce tastes pretty good with chips!

I do dip potato chips in ketchup It taste great too. You should try it sometime

Actually, my favorite dip is the common canned pork-n-beans with its tomato based sauce. Ketchup is a bit 'rich' for common potato chips, but for some of the flavored ones, catsup (or cat soup as I commonly tease) helps take the edge off of flavor powders that are too intense for my tastes.

No, that's gross. They even make ketchup chips to save you the energy of having to dip the chips in ketchup yourself I guess. Ew!

Huh, I dunno about dipping potato chips in ketchup, but ya know what's really good, eating potato chips and chocolate together, yum. Or even been burritos and peanut butter.
