Santorini has the most beautiful sunsets on earth. And I think Greece is one of the most beautiful and romantic countries in general. I would suggest booking off-season (May or September). The weather is still amazing, there aren't as many tourists, and the prices drop during these times.

My other suggestion is Thailand. The flight may be expensive and it's far, but once you are there, you can live like a King and Queen for very very cheap! Example - I was getting 1 hour massages every day for $5 US. Also, the people are so lovely. They really cater to tourists because that's most of the country's income. For beach look into Phuket and places around there, for more inland I would say Chiang Mai is incredible - one of my favorite places on earth!

Enjoy!!

That depends...do you want to party or do you want quiet? Do you want to be alone or with a crowd of folks? Romance is always a must for honeymoons - but you can create romance wherever you go. How much $ do you have? These are key questions for a good answer. I've been to most of the Hawaiian islands, Jamaica, Cabo San Lucas and Orlando (Disneyworld). All of these places are great for honeymoons - depends on what you are looking for. Kauai is very quiet yet gorgeous. Oahu is party central. Maui is inbetween. Cabo is fun, but has become toursitee since I first went. Jamaica was a bit scary (third world scary)...but a truly gorgeous place to visit anyway. I have never been overseas, I hear Paris/Italy/Greece are all very romantic. Good luck.

Someplace beautiful... out in nature... In the mountains or In hawaii especially some where remote. But it really depends on who you are. For some the best honeymoon they could have would be going to Nyc or somewhere with tons of museums and theatres or shopping.... or I know one couple that traveled to fenway to see the red sox and the yankees play... because they are INSANE fans.. and that was perfect for them...
the question is... what have you and your man always wanted to do??? What do you love to do together??? and what would make that weekend memorable for the two of you....

Punta Cana, Dominican republic its very beautiful. You can even ask the travel agency for package plans. It is a PARADISE!!!! Punta Cana is definately the best place to go. It is absolutely beautiful and the people are extremely nice! There are three resorts there and they are all gorgeous, clean, and fun. The restaurants are on the grounds and the hotels are all inclusive. They have activities going on all the time too. GO THERE AND HAVE FUN!

received an email with pictures from the bora bora island
with bungalows on a crystal clear blue sea

I don't think it's unique to that island, but those bungalows over the sea seem like the ideal honeymoon place

We were a bit poor so we went to Gatlinberg,TN. It isn't about the place (unless it is very crappy) it is about how happy you are with your new spouse.

If you can afford it a Sandals resort. It's all inclusive. My hubby and I went to Negril and it was gorgeous! PERFECTO!
