Jesus Christ did not fake his own death! I’m not sure where you are “hearing” this preposterous claim, but I would hazard to guess it would be from the voices in your head It angers me that you “non-believers” are allowed to post such ludicrous questions, just to get a “rise” out of decent, God fearing people. You had to know this would get a reaction. Just to set the record straight, Jesus Christ did not fake his death. In fact, he died a peaceful death at the age of 79, in the year 52 AD of natural causes. He was always embarrassed by the great lengths that his apostles and holy following went to make him appear to be a martyr. He was quoted as saying in the year 35 AD, in a moment of candor:
“I’m just sick to death of this whole thing. The cross…Jesus…that was embarrassing. I wince in pain every time I think about the nails going through my hands. Yech…Those guys are so gross to even come up with that disgusting idea. They made it sound like those Roman guys were real sadists or something. I’ve always gotten along good with them. In fact, on the supposed day of my crucifixion, I was peacefully fishing with Paul and Matthew. We caught several large trout, and cooked them over a slow fire, along with some wine for strictly religious purposes . That would have been….let’s see April, I think around 27 AD. I always get confused with those freaking years. That’s another kind of embarrassing thing…Having the year named after me…I mean really, BC – before Christ….It’s so…unnecessary. This thing has gotten blown totally out of proportion. Jesus, I had to hide for years after…if the truth came out, God, that would have been embarrassing. All these people…you know…they kinda worship me”
Jesus lived in the small town of Nazareth for many years, mostly puttering around the house. He got married when he was 42, and enjoyed a peaceful, sedentary life for the most part. He had seven children, and each of them had successful careers in the woodworking trade.

Where could you possible have heard this, even those who do not believe his legacy still don't disagree with the fact that he was crucified on the cross. During the time of Jesus, Jerusalem was under the rule of the Romans, the Roman soldiers were the ones who nailed him to the cross, he gave up his ghost and died on the cross. He was then wrapped from head to toe in cloth, as was the tradition then when someone died and he was placed in a tomb and a stone was rolled in front of the tomb by the soldiers so no one could move it. The soldiers then stood guard in front of the tomb. Even if he did not die on the cross the wrapping of his face would have caused suffocation any way he died. On the third day he arose from death and the stone was rolled away.
There are those who said his disciples stole his body, but this could not be the case because they were in hiding for fear of their lives. None of them were present at the site of his crucifixion, they were in hiding. Do you think that these same disciples who were in hiding would have dared to pass by Roman soldiers to roll away a huge stone? I don't think so. Don't jump on the band wagon of every rumor or supposition you hear, just read the bible and other religious documents that show that Christ was crucified and that he died for our sins so that we have a chance of eternal life with him in glory.

Is that the local gossip these days? Jesus has been dead for quite some time. Read the Bible. If you don't believe that and you want to believe something you saw on the History Channel, then I pray for you. If you do not have enough faith to put you past a little bit of "evidence" that Jesus wasn't the divine being that Christians have always believed that he was, than you are not a believer.

Please research what the Romans did from a historical perspective.
Read how the flogging took place, what the normal recovery rate was (hint: very low).
Read how the crucifixion took place and how Jesus was then stabbed in the side (water came out indicating a separation of plasma in the blood which occurs after death).
I don't see how anyone could have faked their death under those conditions.

OF cause he did.
1. GOD can't have pain.
2. GOD can't die
So all that suffering and dying on the cross is just holywood made Jesus.
Was Jesus GOD? Did Jesus knew he can't be killed? DId Jesus knew he is decieving ppl to belive he is dying on the cross when he just simply can't die?
It's all fake.
Jesus was a revolutionarry Men, He was teaching democracy at that time. ANd Only Catolics after 397 AD Made him same as GOD.
Common. Nice show.

He didn't fake it because He was dying on the cross and almost everyone saw Him die. Plus, after He died, the Heavens shook, the ground shook, rocks were falling, ground was breaking, God was MAD! He gave His only Son, but no body cared. He didn't fake His death. NOT possible!
God Bless!

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it as he is definitely dead by now if he ever existed and I'm not even convinced of that.
