Deliver Pizzas. It's easy to get a job doing it. I used to make $20-$30 on weekdays, and $60-$100 on Fridays and Saturdays. That was cash, no tax, ON TOP of the $7 an hour they paid me. Plus it was SUPER EASY.
Downsides; Wear and tear on my car (It was old, so I didn't care)
Late hours (I usually started at 5 P.M. and worked until 12:30 A.M.)

Retail, that's what I did as a student and a lot of other people that I worked with were also students.

I would suggest a department store because you can choose flexible hours but I'll warn you now that they WILL try to bully you into overtime and if it clashes with your studies REFUSE on the basis that you have too much work to do and point out the hours they are trying to get you to do are not in your contract (check the terms of the contract first though).

It can be good laugh if you work with a good group around your age group so you may even enjoy it too!

I think you should go ahead and look for a part-time job because any student in school could use the extra money. If you think the job will interfer with your studies then you should try to get some students loans to finish school!
Good luck!!

bartender/waiter! It is hard work but you make really good money for the time you put in. I average like 30 bucks an hour cash. They are always looking for new employees because restaurants tend to have a pretty high turn over. I average like 200 bucks for a six hour shift.

McDonald's

I know it isn't the most glamorous job in the world, but they have flexible hours, so you can work when it suits you. They employ anyone, even people who can barely speak any English, so you've got a fair chance because you can speak English, and it's good experience for when you leave college.

It depends on what you want to do and how old you are and what 'level' of pay you are looking for. It also depends on your experience / previous working history.

For instance if you wanted to work in a clothes shop then shop work would be beneficial or if you wanted to work in an office then previous experience of office work would be beneficial.

Some more information would be helpful.

I know this sounds a bit dull, but leaflet distributing is ok. There's usually ads for it in the local paper- and it can all be done in your own time.

You really need something flexible if you're studying at the same time.
