catholic belief and what is your religion belief?

2006-06-22 07:24:11 · answer #1 · answered by desolate woman 2 · 0 1

I'm Catholic. Our beliefs are stated clearly in the Apostles Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended into hell.

The third day He arose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.

Amen.

My belief is in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I consider myself to be nondenominational. I don't believe in organized denominations. I still worship God though. I attend a Baptist church and was even Baptized there. I fail to understand the factor that if we are all Christians which is what I am then why don't we just call ourselves and churches Christianity. God Bless. I believe in God worship him and I'm Christian.

I am of the Christian Faith. God is the creator of all. We, mankind, are his prosessions to do with as he sees fit. There is a whole lot more to The Christian faith than that of course. NOTE Christian Faith is not a religion. The relationship between the Creator and those of the Christian Faith is one-on-one.... personal... no man created doctrins or dogma involved. No man can controle that relationship.

Religion is mans attempt to controle his god or gods and to compel others to do whateaver their so-called god or gods demand.

unfortunatly too many claim to be christian and then try to set up man control of the believers worship practices. more who claim to be christian are not than who truly are.

honest Seekers may email me concerning a question about The Christian Faith.

None. Religion is a set of rules created by man that uses faith for control. Regardless I am an atheist anyways.
