THIS IS A SCAM!
DO NOT PAY OUT -- EITHER YOU'LL NEVER RECEIVE YOUR 'WINNINGS' OR YOU'LL HAVE A DODGY CHEQUE / CHECK THAT YOU'LL END UP PAYING FOR.
Besides, did you even enter the lottery in the first place?
You have to actually enter into the lottery in the first place to actually win you know.
I suspect this is a Nigerian 401 scam, they're well known and all over the World.
It's the same as when you get an e-mail saying "I work for Mr. Joe Bloggs who passed away recently and he'd like to give you all his money, in total £1million"
DO NOT PAY OUT AND JUST THROW AWAY / DELETE THE LETTER / E-MAIL.

Today I also received a letter from Lotto Players International. I usually enter sweepstakes through PCH. I highly suspect since no affiliation with them was metioned this is some sort of scam. I do not recall ever entering anything with them, or the sweepstake amount of $55,000. If I won why am I paying before I receive my prize.

I received the same letter a couple weeks ago and the same scenario occured. I'm still waiting to receive the $2,380.00 for lawyers fees. I was told that the taxes would be my responsibility.
I spoke with a Nancy Olson three times so far and she said that she sent my file to accounting to be paid. I haven't rec'd anything though.

Sounds like a scam to me. Usually, you have to enter a contest to win.
