My first love broke up with me over 16 years ago, I am now happily married for almost 10 years but I still have thoughts and feelings for my first love. I think it is perfectly okay, now if I tried to contact her and wanted to have a relationship with her that is probably not right.
So in my opinion it is okay for you to still like your ex but if you want your current relationship to work just keep your ex in you memory and leave him alone!

Sure you can. I think once you fall in love with somone, you will always have feelings for them. What matters is if you act on those feelings.
