I want to give my almost 4 yr old daughter early reading skills and thought the homeschooling experts would know best.

I used a program I found online with my son. It's called Reading A-Z (see sources below). They have lessons for each of the letters/phonograms/blends, each with controlled readers you can print out that only have the words they know (sight words) or can sound out, based on what they've learned. Obviously, the controlled readers become more difficult as you work your way through. My now 6 year old was reading well after just the first 10 lessons.

There are several good books for teaching reading - Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons, The Writing Road to Reading, Phonics Pathways. There's also a program called Learning Language Arts Through Literature, which incorporates reading, writing, grammar, and spelling.

The only thing I would say is...be prepared for whatever you try NOT to work. Having homeschooled for several years now, I've discovered that the things I think will work, don't always work as well as I'd hoped and I have to switch programs mid-stream. I realize it costs money, but lots of homeschooling books are 1)available on eBay which means 2) they can be sold on eBay (so you can get some of the money back).

Check out "Explode the Code", "A Home Start in Reading" and "Teach your child to read in 100 lessons" for less expensive and effective programs.

Just do a search for these titles online.

It's probable to pay plenty of time and money trying to find ways to train your young ones how to see and enhance their examining skills. Is hard to show a small child how to read, and even alluring them to learn is challenging in itself. However it doesn't have to be like that because you got the aid of this system https://tr.im/etD2y , Children Learning Reading program.
With Children Learning Reading you may show your youngster how to separate seems and separate words in to phonemes, an important thing when your kid is just understanding how to spell.
The reading system from Children Learning Reading program allows you for kids to see quickly and precisely, from simple words to sentences until they learn to read stories.
