I live with my dad and my step mom. My step mom thinks that i dont care about her and she says that i don't show that i love her at all. I do love her and care about her but i just have a hard time trying to show it because everytime i try all she does is put me down. She just doen't realize that she is hurting me more than she thinks she is. And also growing up I have always been kind of afraid of her because she is really tough. How do I show that I care and get over my fear of my step mom?

I've tried talking to me dad a million times and he just tells me to ignor her. But its hard when she tells me that I'm stupid and worthless and crap like that, and then expects me to give her respect.

It will first take quite a while for you to build up the courage to stand up to her. You need to let her know how you feel in a sincere and honest way. You need to let go of petty actions and show her you are the person who cares for her. Talk to her, find out about her day etc.
Just show her!
