I have one of those brushes with lots of bristles. It kinda looks like a huge hairbrush for dishes, with a long handle. All I do it put the grill in the sink, pour a good amount of Dawn, add just a little water to spread out the Dawn, then take that brush scrub for about a minute or two and viola' the grill is clean.

You can get those brushes and anystore, most likely they will be there beside the sponges, they are usually $2-5$

I clean mine while it is still warm and use the tool to scrape off the big stuff and then wipe it clean with a sponge thing for dishes.
It works great and I use the GF alot.
I also hated to clean it but it is much faster if you do it warm and the stuff comes off easier.

I love my george foreman grill so much i could do an info-merical!!!

what i do is:
take a dishrag or j-cloth dripping wet with deluted dishsoap and let it sit on it while you eat.
keep the fat catch tray underneath to catch the water.
after you are done eating it will be one big wet mess of nothing.
just wipe!!!

It is a hassel, your right. But if you just take your spong while its soapy and wipe it down, you can just squirt it with the gun thingie on the sink. I just sort of tilt it towards the sink and spray it after I have wiped it all down. No wonder i don't use that thing, it is a PITA!

I had one too. I loved it but the clean up was a pain in the rear. I think the easiest clean up method I found was to chuck it in the trash basket.
