Prayerwarrior,
God’s holiness or His glory is His goodness. We are to come out of the world and be set apart to God or sacred – holy.
Holiness is not just an attitude or feeling. It must be expressed through action. Our words of truth and actions that reveal God to those around us, when motivated by love, are holiness in action.
If you read books by theologians of the past, they often speak of benevolence or goodwill. God always chooses to do what is good universally. When we choose universal good or unselfish good, we are acting like our Father and expressing holiness.
We need to preach the gospel and heal the sick and raise the dead and cast out demons to set people free just like Jesus, our example.
Simply our duty is to express the truth about God by our words and deeds with God’s unselfish love as our motive. That is holiness.
God bless.

I was just researching the word 'holy' for bible study today.
In the Greek language 'holy' is defined as- sacred, pure, blameless, consecrated, purity from defilement, saint.
To live a holy life is to set yourself apart from worldly living and thinking and give yourself wholly to God, that little by little you may be transformed by the renewing of your mind into the image of His Son.
As Christians, we remain blameless in Jesus when we seek His forgiveness for our sins and are cleansed from unrighteousness.

Setting ur self apart from unpure thoughts and being unequally yoked with sinners. Prayer and worship daily. Studying to show thy self approved by the word of God and rightly dividing the word of truth. Walk the Walk and not lip service!

Living Holy means living a life that is committed to pleasing God. And the only way to please God is to obey His commands. And there aren't just ten. That is not to say that one should commit their lives to KNOWING every single command He's made, but whole heartedly living accordingly to what they know He said and pursuing a real relationship with Him through obediance. God Bless.

If you are a Christian person, it means following the will of God. Simple.
If you are not (or you just want a more practical approach), to me it means respecting the dignity of the human person, respecting each human being as an individual and obtaining justice.

I follow the ten commandments as best I can and I read the Bible often. I go to church as often as I can. And I love God as much as possible.
